Scope
These Terms of Service cover two separate Dconomation services: the Dconomation website (the “Website”) and any Dconomation Discord bot or application (the “Discord Bot”). The Website is a technical publication; the Discord Bot is a separate service that may operate within Discord servers.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using either service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use the applicable service.
Website Terms
The Website provides published content for general informational purposes. It does not currently provide accounts, paid subscriptions, purchases, or user-submitted posts. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue Website features at any time.
Discord Bot Terms
Use of a Discord Bot is also subject to Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Server owners and users are responsible for configuring and using the Discord Bot lawfully and for ensuring that their use complies with rules applicable to their server and jurisdiction.
User Accounts and Discord Access
The Website does not require a user account. Where a Discord Bot relies on a Discord account, you are responsible for your Discord credentials and for activity performed through your account or server configuration. We may restrict or terminate Discord Bot access for violations of these Terms or applicable platform rules.
Age Requirements
You must be at least 13 years old to use the applicable service. If we learn that a user does not meet this requirement, we may restrict access or delete information as appropriate.
Intellectual Property
Dconomation and its original Website content, features, and functionality remain the property of Dconomation and its licensors. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used with another product or service without prior written consent.
Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Website or Discord Bot:
- In violation of applicable laws or regulations
- To transmit unsolicited commercial communications or spam
- To impersonate another person or entity
- To interfere with others’ use of the applicable service
- To gain unauthorized access to any system, account, or data
- To use automated scripts in a manner that harms, disrupts, or bypasses service controls
- To upload, distribute, or transmit malicious code
Disclaimer of Warranties
The services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Dconomation disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dconomation is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the applicable service.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Illinois, USA, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the applicable service after an update is subject to the revised Terms.
